Job Responsibilities Include:

• Clinical management and comprehensive evaluation of inpatient neurological patients

• Clinical management and knowledge of the AHA Stroke Management Patient Care Guidelines.

• Formulate and initiate individualized treatment plans based on therapeutic principles

• Interprets common laboratory, electrographic and radiologic findings and intervene appropriately

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-Time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa, working in partnership with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando. This position offers the opportunity to practice within a growing, collaborative network providing comprehensive pediatric care across Central Florida.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide pediatric admissions for our 15-bed Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit
  • Support emergency department pediatric consults and participate in daily family-centered rounding
  • Provide coverage in the Level I Newborn Nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider
  • Flexible schedule: approximately 7 twelve-hour shifts per month (days, nights, and weekends)
  • On-site pediatric support includes:
  • 28-bed Level III NICU with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage
  • 5-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with intensivist coverage
  • Pediatric surgery and medical specialty services available

AdventHealth is looking for a dynamic, hardworking board-certified Family or Internal Medicine trained physician to work as a Medical Director.  Physician will join an existing inpatient practice affiliated with the Allopathic Family Medicine residency but will serve in a clinical only role.

Ideal candidate should possess:

  • Minimum two years clinical experience.
  • Leadership experience including areas such as medical staff leadership, department leadership, or quality and safety leadership highly preferred.
  • The Medical Director of the Internal Medicine Department is a key physician leadership role with primary responsibilities for creating excellence in quality, safety, patient experience, best practices, and productivity within the Internal Medicine group.
  • The Medical Director is responsible for supporting the recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers, developing, and supporting the Monument Health onboarding process and promoting and mentoring physician leadership within the team.
  • He/she will work with the Executive Medical Director to set the goals and objectives of the internal medicine departmen

You will provide expert care in prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, and MFM consultation in our AIUM-certified practice. You will work with our group of talented sonographers who actively participate in monthly training and a vigorous quality review program.

You will have the opportunity to hone your teaching skills with medical students and our OB/GYN residents. A collaborative team of medical staff, physicians and APPs will round out your office work family.

You will have the support of our Hospital Perinatal Nurse Coordinator and our “Coordinated Care for Kids” program to connect moms-to-be with the right specialists in MFM, OB, neonatology, genetics, and the pediatric subspecialty groups.

  • Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weeklong call among six MFM physicians.

Education & Experience

  • Dual Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.

AdventHealth Florida Specialty Network is seeking a VP/Chief Medical Officer to assume clinical leadership of Radiology services across the state of Florida.

Job Summary:

The VP/CMO of Radiology Services provides statewide physician leadership for Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology across Florida’s three divisions, co-leading in a dyad with the Administrative VP. Will unify operations, quality and growth; sets the radiology playbook for AH Florida and Kentucky markets.

The VP/CMO is responsible for developing and executing statewide, specialty-specific strategies that reflect deep expertise in the specialty, foster clinical integration, advance quality outcomes, drive innovation, expand consumer access, and sustain growth.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Model dyad leadership by co-developing strategic, operational, clinical and financial priorities with the Administrative VP, presenting a unified vision for each service line across the state. 
  • Convene cross-divisional leaders to ensure alignment of roles, governance, and accountability. 
  • Lead design, development, and execution of statewide specialty specific clinical strategies that integrate best practices, innovation, and efficient resource utilization, including inpatient/hospitalist models and call strategies (when applicable). 
  • Partner with Market Strategy & Development to support market expansion, prioritization, and workforce planning. 
  • Drive adoption of evidence-based clinical standards, care pathways, benchmarking, and safety practices. 
  • Continuously evaluate emerging trends and technologies in the specialty, recommending strategic adoption to improve quality, access, and operational efficiency. 
  • Physician engagement and culture, with a focus on wellness, succession planning, and leadership pipelines

  • Serve as the statewide clinical authority for the specialty, ensuring evidence-based practice is advanced and adapted to meet emerging trends and innovations.

The Executive Medical Director of Pediatric Surgical Services (Surgeon in Chief) serves as the primary medical and administrative leader for pediatric surgical and proceduralist services, including pediatric surgical specialties and procedural programs, such as gastroenterology and dentistry. The role bridges high-level hospital administration, pediatric network, and direct clinical care, providing strategic, clinical, academic, and operational leadership across the perioperative continuum. Oversight includes but not exclusive to Pediatric Outpatient Procedures & Sedation (POPS), Pediatric Infusion Center (PIC), Pediatric Surgical Center (PSC), Post Acute Care Unit (PACU), Rapid In and Out (RIO), inpatient/ambulatory post-op.

This physician leader is accountable for excellence in patient care, surgical quality and safety, patient & family experience, education and scholarly activity, operational efficiency, fiscal stewardship, and program growth—all aligned with AdventHealth for Children’s mission, vision, values, and long-term strategy. The role maintains an active clinical practice, focuses on case management, and serves as the senior physician liaison to administration, anesthesia, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications Required: 

  • MD or DO; board certification in pediatric surgical specialty
  • Clinically active with a minimum of 0.25 FTE (0.5 FTE preferred)
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain)
  • Pediatric surgical experience
  • 10+ years leadership experience
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and transition management skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to develop and mentor others to their optimum levels of skill and professionalism
