AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida is seeking a full-time, ABR fellowship trained overnight Body/ED Radiologist to join its expanding practice of over 150 radiologists. We are currently the largest radiology practice in Central Florida which includes 40 collegial, dedicated body imagers. Our facilities provide approximately 2.3 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff and stretches from Palm Coast to Celebration, Florida.

Candidates can expect sub-specialization in body imaging only. No mammo required.  Neuro skills welcomed, but not required.

Our main campus is a tertiary referral center for Central Florida with a large cancer and transplant population. This provides a large volume of advanced body MRI. Our hospital system has multiple residency programs including our own residency with 4 residents per year.

Procedure skills in CT and US are welcomed but not required. 

Candidate should expect:

  • 7 days on 14 days off OR 14 days on 14 days OFF  - overnight position
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida is seeking a full-time ABR fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Imager to join its expanding practice of 150 radiologists. Our facilities provide approximately 2 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff.

Candidate should expect:

  • No Overnight call
  • 24 hr. 3D post processing lab
  • Practice model is sub-specialty based interpretations
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • Opportunity to participate in clinical research and resident education

Clinical responsibilities include interpreting all aspects of thoracic and cardiac imaging including radiography, CT, and MR. Familiarity with pediatric and adult congenital heart disease (CHD) would be preferred but not required. Besides the described cardiothoracic studies, the candidates will also have the opportunity to read as much abdominal imaging as they wish. Performing thoracic procedures, mammography, and general radiology is NOT required for this position.

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida is seeking a full-time ABR fellowship trained Diagnostic Imager to join its expanding practice of 170 radiologists. This candidate will work at AdventHealth Manchester, in Manchester, Kentucky but support all of our additional facilities under one PACS system. Background in mammography and/or IR a plus, but not necessary. Our facilities provide more than 3.2 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff.

CAQ in Neuroradiology or CAQ eligible required. We perform approximately 2 million exams per year via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff. Our mission is to consistently provide the highest quality patient centered diagnostic and interventional service to patients and referring physicians, in a cost effective and timely manner.

This position will be located in Orlando, Fl.  The majority of shifts may be performed at home with rare onsite coverage.  Position entails working 14 days on with 14 days off from 10pm to 6am.

Candidate should expect:

  • Read 100% Neuroradiology including CT, MR, XR, and US
  • Advanced imaging knowledge is required including CT Perfusion for stroke and MR Perfusion for brain tumors
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • High end Neuroradiology practice with a large volume of neuro oncology, epilepsy, head and neck oncology, and stroke imaging

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Radiology, Pediatric

The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology are seeking a full-time ABR fellowship trained Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join our expanding subspecialized practice of six pediatric radiologists and one pediatric neuroradiologist. The pediatric radiology group interprets over 100,000 pediatric studies per year.  AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology has 170 radiologists and provides a total of approximately two million exams annually.

This position will allow for the unique opportunity to fully develop the pediatric interventional radiology program at AdventHealth for Children. Extensive support from the administrative and operational teams of both AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology will be provided. The physician will have access to state-of-the-art equipment in a recently updated fluoroscopy suite, dedicated clinic space/time, and advanced practice provider support. Rotations occur at a single hospital site in central Orlando, and pediatric interventional call is covered by the adult IR section.

There is an engaging pediatric case mix with multiple opportunities for a pediatric interventional radiologist including:

  • Development of a pediatric interventional vascular malformation clinic: our growing Children’s hospital has a thriving pediatric dermatology group currently seeing vascular malformation patients. The ideal candidate would assist in developing the radiology components of this clinic, including overseeing imaging, and planning/providing interventional procedures.
  • Involvement with the AdventHealth Transplant Institute team as needed for interventional procedures: AdventHealth for Children has an active pediatric transplant service and is the only hospital providing pediatric liver transplant in central Florida.
  • Growing opportunity for musculoskeletal procedures following our recent partnership with Rothman Orthopedics.
  • Oversight/management of pediatric interventional procedures including biopsy, abscess drainage, etc.

Requirements of the position:

Board eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology with additional fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology. Please note this is not a J1 or H1 Opportunity.
