The Executive Medical Director of Pediatric Surgical Services (Surgeon in Chief) serves as the primary medical and administrative leader for pediatric surgical and proceduralist services, including pediatric surgical specialties and procedural programs, such as gastroenterology and dentistry. The role bridges high-level hospital administration, pediatric network, and direct clinical care, providing strategic, clinical, academic, and operational leadership across the perioperative continuum. AdventHealth is seeking an experienced cardiologist to lead our Heart, Lung, and Vascular program in Orlando, FL. The physician would join a multidisciplinary team with a large established patient population base to service. Physician can expect the ability to participate in research studies, and work with our cardiology fellows. The role will be 0.6 FTE clinical and 0.4 FTE administrative.

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic and energetic Neonatologist to join our team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando.
The Neonatologist would be responsible for but not limited to covering the 16 bed NICU at AH Daytona along with participating in daily family centered rounding and attending high risk deliveries. The schedule would consist of both restricted (8hrs of in-house coverage) and unrestricted call (call within a 20-30 min response time) resulting in approximately 15 shifts per month.

AdventHealth for Children Walt Disney Pavilion
As part of the AdventHealth Daytona Beach collaboration with the Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children, patients will have the support of a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We started our comprehensive pediatric open heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT and solid organ transplants including kidney and liver, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017. Our unparalleled network consists of 30 hospitals across the state with one children’s hospital at the center totals over 23,000 births and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics. Our newest program has brought pediatric liver transplant services to Central Florida.
