Overview

 AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dynamic and energetic board-certified or eligible OB/GYN to join our busy, established practice based in Central Florida, just southwest of Orlando located in Polk County.  Given a high surge in population growth and medical need, our practice is looking to meet the demanding market requirements of the community. OB/GYN is part of our multispecialty practices in Polk County that encompass Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Surgical Breast Oncology and Breast Reconstruction, Endocrinology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Podiatry and Wound Care.  

The current OB/GYN practice of three physicians performs a high volume of deliveries and surgeries.  Physician should be proficient in performing minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery.  Robotic subspecialty interest could be incorporated depending the physician’s background and training.  Physician will perform deliveries at AdventHealth Heart of Florida. 
 
Expectations for the new physician:

  • Daily, high volume schedule of outpatient and inpatient care
  • Practice all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to foster and build collegial relationships with community-based physicians
  • A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth

Practice Description

This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance.
