AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and energetic  Swing Shift Admitting Hospitalist to join our growing team of hospitalists at our highly rated, 364 bed Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL.!

We are seeking a physician who will model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and professionalism while maintaining AdventHealth’ s Mission, Vision, Values.

The AdventHealth Daytona Beach team consists of   (18) day physicians ,   (2)   nocturnists, and (4) APP’s . Our day/nocturnists  hospitalists work in teams rotating a 7 on /7   off schedule. Our Swing shift admitter shift will run from (10a-10p) 7 on /7 off    or Mon- Fri  (2p-10p) 

Collectively, the AdventHealth Medical Group Hospitalists cover 5 hospitals in Volusia and Lake counties, allowing opportunities for collegial cross-coverage and additional shift pick-ups with generous compensation at campuses other than the primary campus.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements of the position include

  • Board Certification / Eligibility through ABIM or ABMS
  • Team player with patient-first mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eligible for active Florida license
  • Ability to collaborate closely with consultants and support staff

 Practice Overview

The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group.  Our hospitalist team is a substantial percentage of our Medical Group currently with over 80 providers. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians in 27 individual service lines. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.
