Overview
AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dynamic Day Hospitalist to join our collegial and collaborative team at our AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Hospital, located in the heart of NSB, minutes from the beach and just a short walk to both the intercoastal waterway and the canal street historic district. We are looking for a physician who will model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and professionalism while maintaining AdventHealth’ s Mission, Vision, Values. Our day hospitalists are responsible for roughly 182 shifts per year work in teams rotating a 7 on /7 off schedule. Our shifts run from 7am-7pm.The AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach team consists of (12) day physicians, (2) nocturnists, and (2) APP’s.

- Board Certification / Eligibility through ABIM or ABMS

The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group. Our hospitalist team is a substantial percentage of our Medical Group currently with over 80 providers. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians in 27 individual service lines. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach is a community hospital with 112 beds, and an open ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage. It is one of the six hospitals in Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties that compose the AdventHealth Central Florida Division — North Region. AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach has wide array of services for a community hospital including, but not limited to cancer care, heart and vascular services, palliative and hospice care, imaging, lab, orthopedics, sports medicine and rehabilitation, surgical, wound and emergency care.
