Overview
General Summary:
The APP, under the supervision of Physicians, is responsible for:
- Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric patients.
- Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
- Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed.
- Collaborates with providers and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.
- Combination of outpatient in person visits as well as virtual visits.
- Displays a caring and professional attitude at all times as well as maintaining personal and professional growth.
Schedule Details:
- Primary Schedule: Tuesday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-4pm; potential for Saturday morning and additional coverage
- Primary Location: Winter Garden (15502 Stoneybrook West Pkwy Suite 114, Winter Garden, FL 34787)
- Opportunity to pick up additional hours when needed at Apopka, Winter Garden, College Park, Orange City and Orlando

Education and Experience Required:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Minimum of 5 years pediatric experience
Licensure, Certification, and Registration Required:
- Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license
- ANCC, AANP, PNP-PC/AC, or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification
- Current BLS required
