AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or APRN-RNFA) to join a nationally recognized cardiovascular surgery program entering an exciting period of growth under the leadership of Dr. Lawrence Lee, MD, MBA.
As part of one of the nation's largest faith-based healthcare systems, you'll work alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team caring for complex cardiovascular patients while helping shape the future of a rapidly expanding program.
General Summary:
- First assist in a broad range of cardiovascular surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, thoracic surgery, and structural heart interventions.
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and radial artery harvesting in support of complex surgical cases.
- Partner closely with cardiovascular surgeons to manage patients across the full continuum of care, from surgical planning and optimization through recovery and long-term follow-up.
- Care for patients requiring advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support therapies, including ventricular assist devices (VADs) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
- Participate in the management of patients undergoing transcatheter and structural heart procedures within a rapidly growing multidisciplinary program.
- Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, cardiologists, and specialized care teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for some of the region's most complex cardiovascular patients.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Rotating weeknight call responsibilities
- Shared weekend call coverage
- Practice location based at AdventHealth Orlando
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Demonstrated surgical first-assist experience, preferably within cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery
- Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
- Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and commitment to team-based care
Licensure & Certifications:
- Current Florida PA-C or APRN license, or eligibility to obtain
- RNFA certification required for APRN candidates
- NCCPA certification or equivalent national certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
